Hello, we would like to notify you that Cate  Barkley has been selected as a 5-6 years old division finalist in the 2014 Star-Telegram Stock Show Art Contest.  Congratulations this entry is one of the top 7 out of 43, entries in this division.

 

Cate is invited to join us at a special awards ceremony on Saturday, January 4, 2014.  This event is held to honor the finalists, their families and teachers. The most exciting part is the contest placing that will be announced and awards presented to all of the finalists. The event will be held in the South Texas Room in the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall at the Will Rogers Memorial Center.  We ask that finalists arrive by 10:00 am to check in and receive ceremony instructions, seating assignment and name badge.  Please RSVP by reply to this email with students name and number of guests that will be attending. 

 

Finalist entries will be displayed in a special exhibit in the concourse of the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall throughout the duration of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, January 17 through February 8, 2014.  They will not be displayed at the awards ceremony although photos of the entry will be part of a slide show presentation. 

 

Watch the mail for an official invitation to the Awards ceremony that will include parking instructions for the day of the ceremony and a map of the ceremony location within the Will Rogers Memorial Center.  Please allow extra time for parking the grounds are extremely busy and parking is limited.
